The Outlet-Baffle Tee seen in the photo below keeps the
solids from entering the field lines. This helps to prevent field line failure and can be made even more effective by adding
a filter!
The photo below shows the presence of dark bio-mat growth
outside of the septic tank working its way to the field lines. Excessive Bio-Mat growth can saturate the soil in the
absorption field, rendering the soil unable to absorb the septic effluent (waste water).
The excessive Bio-Mat problem can be prevented from entering
the field lines by adding Aerobic Treatment to the system in the form of an Aerobic Treatment Unit (which is installed outside
the septic tank - between the tank and the drain field) or by adding air and aerobic bacteria to the septic tank (septic remediation).
